The first visit we literally had to drag our dog Speedy into the kennels and felt so bad, but the lovely folk at Big Paw reassured us and we were off.
The next time we visited the kennels it was a totally different story. He was out of that car as quick as he could. He dragged us inside this time. He loves the place!!! We love it too. The staff are so lovely and he gets a huge welcome every time he arrives!
We were lucky enough to find Big Paw over 9 years ago after moving to Tirau from Auckland. What a lucky find. We are unashamedly parents to our Standard Poodle daughter and her safety is paramount to us. The accommodation is good, clean and warm and we know she is well looked after, which makes our trips away much more enjoyable. She is always happy and healthy on our return – happy to see us and happy to go back again the next time. A home away from home. Thanks Lea & Anthony for being there for us.
For over 5 years Big Paw Pet Lodge has been our Whippet Traceys’ second home – on numerous occasions and sometimes up to several weeks at a time. Lea & Anthony run an excellent establishment which is always clean, warm and tidy and caters to our demanding Whippets every whim! Thanks to Big Paw I can go away on holiday and not worry about our little dog.
